Sorry Charlie! This is the default go-to steakhouse in Orlando as far as I am concerned.Great Service! Reasonably priced for what it is, and I liked the food.

Truly top notch. A great restaurant for a special occasion, as you will be putting a hurtin' on your wallet. The house salad is great. I usually don't go for the house, but on the waiter's recommendation I did, and I was not disappointed. Croutons were too hard though. The service is great, as it should be. Steak lovers: Get the T-bone and don't look back. So much flavor... Sides are huge and a la carte (good to share), as is with other establishments in this category.

Great deals at happy hour. But other than that, it is really pricy for slightly better than average food.

I had a lovely meal at Fleming's. To be honest I think Morton's is even better but for the price Fleming's is likely a better deal. They have a price fixe menu that is a fabulous deal! That's the route to go unless your heart is set on something else. I thought the food was very good but not astounding. The French Onion soup was missing something like red wine - depth. My steak (very surprisingly since it is a steakhouse) was not cooked at all how I ordered (medium rare) but it was very good. I am not really picky anyways on how it is cooked. The banana brulee was fine but not cooked quite right - not firm enough. The side dishes were the really nice surprise! Creamy, spinach, mac n' cheese were great! The best thing about our experience was the service. Like none I have ever had. If you go check out Danielle - she would make the Waffle House an experience to remember!

Flemings is first class all the way. A beautiful decor sets the mood as soon as you enter, the staff is top-notch, and the food is unbeatable. A perfect place for a special occassion, plan to spend at least 60 bucks for each person on dinner, and if you love wine it will most likely be more. Their wine list is longer than their menu, so you won't be disappointed. Parking is rough, but they have complimentary valet. Just don't forget to bring some cash for the tip :) A GREAT place for a date!

This one of a few that will ever get a Five star rating. The food is exceptional. Just when you thought it could not get any better it does. The desserts are great. They have a great selection of wine and top shelf liquors. Their prices are high but worth it .The quality is the highest money is well spent here and worth it. Fleming's is bringing fine dining back

Definitely a great steakhouse experience - 100 wines by the glass! But the best deal in town is their happy hour - 5-6-7. Everything is just six-bucks from 5-7, including their prime burger and a Ketel One martini. This is the best deal in town.

If you want a great steakhouse experience, skip Del Frisco's and Linda's and come here. The entire staff was extremely attentive and well trained. The waiter's timing was impeccable, we were not rushed, but we didn't feel ignored either. The food is excellent and the drinks were great too. The dining room was beautiful, and I loved the open kitchen. My husband got the Caesar salad, rib-eye, and Flemings potatoes; all were superb. I ordered the 3 course meal for $40, and while it was enough food for me, I don't suggest it for anyone who is terribly hungry. The spinach salad was large and tasty, but the entree was extremely small- two shrimp, three spears of asparagus, and a 3 once serving of filet. It was all prepared very well, but there wasn't much on the plate, so I poached from my husbands potatoes to round out the course. the creme brulee, which was included in my three course meal, was excellent, and the serving size was large, almost too much for one person, but I managed to eat it all. My husband ordered NY style cheesecake for dessert and it was perfect, not too sweet, and perfectly rich and smooth. This was a great meal for a special occasion. Expect to spend around $100 per person.

Umm... I came here for their 5 for 6 AFTER 7 on Tuesday (and I think they also have it on Wednesday). I've found that they are not only serving some really good EG Inspiration vodka drinks for $6, but they are also offering their full size bacon cheesburger for $6 as well... This place is awesome for happy hour. And the 7pm to close happy hour is really worth going in for.

The hype about this "steakhouse" is just that, hype. I wonder who wrote several of these glowing reviews?? We tried Fleming's for dinner recently. Tried it, won't ever return. Ridiculously high priced steaks, subpar taste and quality. If you want real great, delicious steaks every time, you must go to Del Frisco's or The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach. Pricey steaks, but well worth every single cent every single time! I ordered the Peppercorn Steak (Prime New York Strip $43.00). It was tough and flavorless even with the Heinz 57 type sauce they give you. $43.00??? Are u kidding me?? I've had better quality, better tasting steaks at Outback!!!!! My companion ordered the Main Filet Mignon ($42.00). He had to ask for steak sauce because it lacked any flavor whatsoever. We have no problems at all paying a steep price for a high quality, fresh, tasty steak. Neither one of ours fell into any of these categories. Their much talked about Lava Cake?? Don't bother. Try Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle instead of the Lava Cake, while appropriate in size, lacked in flavor. The only good thing I can recommend here is the Mango Iced Tea. Spend your money at any other of the great steak places in our Central Florida area. Don't waste your time or money here!

Good food. Little pricey, but worth it.

Great food, great service! We have always had a positive dining experience whenever we go. I highly recommend the lava cake - yum!

We just went to Flemings last weekend and it was delicious. They had 2 Chef Specials which we ordered and everything was supreme. Service was great, the wine list was explained well and we tried a few different wines before ordering a bottle. They offer Valet which is nice and when you are finished your server will make sure your car is ready. The Steak was perfect, everything on our plates were eaten, even the Flemings Salad was amazing. Will definitely return.

Five star is definitely the way to describe Flemings. Everything from the food to the decor is over the top, but elegant at the same time making it clear this is not your average, everyday, run of the mill restaurant. Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar is located in the heart of Winter Park and is known for their top grade cuts of meat and seafood, as well as their vast selection of wines. This is the perfect place to go for a romantic date or a special occasion. My boyfriend and I chose this place for our first year anniversary dinner and it was perfecto! The atmosphere and ambiance were set by the dim lighting, white table clothes and candles lit on each and every table...setting the mood nicely. As expected, the wait staff are top knotch and treat you like royalty. Their knowledge is impeccable when it comes to the wines and food on the menu. After ordering drinks, everyone receives a platter with melba toasts and various spread. Although I'm not big on steak, I felt obligated to order a filt mignon since we were in a steakhouse. It was AMAZING! It practically melted in my mouth and was cooked just as I asked...as rare as you can get. I've also had the scallops and fish, which are equally as satisfying. My boyfriend ordered the T-bone steak and loved it. All items comes a la carte, meaning you order the sides separately. I highly recommend the potatoes and asparagus, but all of them sound yum-o. As far as wines go, this place has all of the best name brands including my favorite, conundrum. If you're not sure what you want or what you like, the waiters can guide you on your decision. For desert, the chocolate cake is the way to go! It's so moist with a gooey center...like heaven in my mouth! While we were there the first time around something quite funny happened...although it wasn't very funny for the person who this happened to. Apparently one of the valet guys broke the shifter on a guest's truck. Clearly not a good thing. I'm not sure what came of it, but the guy was obviously pissed and probably got his meal for free. Just be wary of this when you go. Their parking situation isn't the best and you really don't have a choice but to valet. Overall, this place gets an A+. Definitely experience Flemings at least once if you can!
(5)Ellen B.
I was a skeptic, but Flemings stacks up as one of the best steakhouses in Orlando. They actually decant your bottle of wine at the table. The prime rib was some of the best I've ever had and was so large I had to take the rest of it home. The attentive servers take an interest in making a personal connection and a memorable dining experience for everyone at the table. Ten times better than Houston's and more exquisite than Del Frisco's, the only place that even comes close to the quality of Flemings might be Ruth's Chris.
(5)p t.
If you are looking for a steak that is worth the price...this is the place. we are regulars here. the wait staff is personable and very attentive. the wine list is extensive, and the food is excellent. I love the potatoes Fleming, they are cheesy and include jalepenos. the mac and cheese is to die for as well. The staff is really great at suggesting a wine to fit your taste. The only downside is the parking, it is valet only. We usually park in front of Radio Shack in the plaza next door, it is a very short walk, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are all dressed up.
(5)Lori G.
First and foremost, this is a pricey restaurant. I was here for a birthday and so warranted the expense but I certainly would not be able to frequent the place. That being said it was a decadent experience. We were seated right away on a Saturday night and I got a good look at the place. It was definitely what I would imagine a fine dining steak house to resemble. Dark wood, white table cloths, pristine cleanliness, and a no fuss decor great for closing that multi-million dollar deal. A regal bar stood at the front of Fleming's with a few TVs and a few singles enjoying dinner and cocktail. The lighting was elegant and we were soon presented with, no not a complimentary bread basket, but instead a cracker and vegetable platter with some really tasty spreads. This was exciting and I enjoyed it immensely as I perused the menu settling on the fillet mignon. The sides, I was told, were built for 2 so my dinner companion and I decided to split the cheesy potato casserole dish. We also had wine, I had a Riesling and it complimented my meal nicely. When the food arrived my mouth was watering. The fillet was smooth as butter and the potato's were an enticing side. Our server was friendly, not as stiff as you might imagine for such a place. I had to doggie bag up half my meal and it was done so grandly. I would highly recommend Flemings for the beef lover on a special occasion or even just for the heck of it on payday.
(5)Tany G.
You get what you pay for, in the best kind of way. The Ambiance is classy and intimate. Everything that they serve, down to the butter spread for the bread, is hand made. Their steak is cooked to order, and to perfection. The mashed potatoes are to die for. The carrot cake I did like, but would be the only thing on the menu that I might change on the next visit. During Magical Dining month in September, I was able to have a 3-course meal for $33. I was able to get an amazing meal for a surprisingly affordable rate.
(5)Jesikah C.
Flemings has honestly never failed me! Our last visit was for my birthday and as always Flemings makes you feel like the only guest in the building due to the high level of service. Our waiter Jason did an amazing job at helping me pick out a wine that I would love and I ended up buying it the next day for my home. Flemings bread never disappoints and the butter is great! For dinner I ate the butternut squash ravioli and my boyfriend had the Salmon. Both were amazing! Jason recommended carrot cake for dessert (I am not a fan of carrot cake at all) but this dessert was amazing. I'm still thinking about it right now as I write this review. As always the manager came to thank me for my visit and wished me a happy birthday. They also gave me a box of four truffles. Like I said before Flemings is an amazing restaurant with impeccable service and mouth watering food.

Earlier this week I made reservations for my wife and I on 8/1/2015 for 7 pm. We arrived and the valet took opened up the door for my wife and I. I realized I did not have any cash on me so I walked next door to WAWA so I could get some cash from the ATM. Thank goodness we are always early for everything. I let the hostess know we have a 7 pm reservation and they are unable to find my reservation. I let them know we had requested a booth and we were taken to a booth. Instead of clearing two of the settings and arranging everything on the table properly, we were just seated at the table. About 10 minutes later our server comes to the table. She and the hostess asked it this was a special occasion but never asked if we had dined here before and never given a heads up about the "Fleming's" experience or menu. We were not offered recommendations by the server but fortunately I had looked them up online and reviewed the menu ahead of time. If I had relied on my server to "Guide" me through their menu, I was in trouble. I ordered my wife a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and as usual I had a glass of iced tea with lime, unsweetened of course. For an appetizer I selected the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. We elected to have the Certified Angus Beef Porterhouse for two (32 oz) with the Black and White Peppercorn rub. For sides we ordered the Spicy Thai Green Beans and a Loaded Baked Potato. Dessert consisted of the Chocolate Lava Cake for my wife and the Creme Brulee for me. We were brought some bread with two spreads and shortly after that my wife's wine arrived. I gave my server a few minutes but our appetizer arrives and my iced tea was nowhere to be found. I caught one of the other servers and he had brought me some tea. shortly thereafter our server comes to the table and she realized very quickly she had dropped the ball already. The bread, it was incredible and both of the spreads were delicious. The appetizer was spot on for taste but one of the two crab cakes was damaged. When it was set on the table, it was set on the table with the damaged cake away from us assuming we would not notice. The picture tells the story. Our steak was brought to the table and plated at the table. That was a nice way of presenting the steak and the plating was done skillfully. After the sides were placed on the table I elected to take a picture of everything and then we dove in. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and I have to say that was one delicious and tasty steak. The steak sauce they put on the table was divine and I am not one for putting steak sauce on a steak but their sauce is fantastic. The green beans were perfectly cooked and the garlic was caramelized just right. The heat level could have been a little higher for my personal preference but for most I would expect it to be just right. The baked potato was just the way I liked it and when they LOAD it, they do not skimp on the bacon. After finishing our steaks we put our knives to the top of our plate so the server would know we were finished and ready for dessert. She never caught that and did not notice my tea glass was empty. I felt like I was training this server to be perfectly candid. We were brought our desserts and shortly after were approached by Beckie who was one of the operating partners to check on our dining experience. I just told it to her straight about the reservation, service issues and pointed out the chef's fingerprint on my wife's dessert plate along with showing her a picture of the appetizer. I let her know that the food was absolutely delicious but was the service was far from up to par. To her credit she took ownership of the service issues and never made any excuses. She also went far and above and said the meal was on her for not delivering on the overall dining experience. That was not necessary in my opinion but it does let me know how seriously she takes the ball being dropped on the service side. In spite of the relatively poor service I still gave the server a tip that was more generous than she truly deserved but I do remember the first time I waited tables and have never forgotten how much my feet hurt at the end of a shift. Food: Taste - 5 Presentation - 3 (fingerprints/crab cake damaged) Service: Valet - 5 Hostess - 1 (reservation pooch screw) Server - 1 Food runners - 4 Table side presentation of steak - 5 I will gladly give them another chance because the taste delivered but I sure hope the service deficiencies and plating issues are addressed. I rarely complain when I dine out... I usually just pay the bill and never return when dining in places at this price point. The way Beckie handled the situation is why I will give them a second chance. BTW: The neighbor's dog thanks you for that steak bone!

Visited Fleming's during Orlando's magical dining month with my Dad. From start to finish, the experience was top notch! I frequently visit high end steakhouses and Fleming's belongs on that list.
(5)Iceberg S.
The food mediocre. The service poor. The drinks water-downed. The ambiance and cleanliness poor. The management lacking. This is a place for those people who know no better, or who have never been to a real steakhouse in New York, Omaha or San Francisco. It is classy for those who have no class, or know the definition of it! I have been here three times and nothing has changed. They actually employ waitresses, when no respectable upscale restaurant would ever do. For those of you who will later brag in Facebook about this joint: Shame on your ignorance!
(1)Gabe M.
Had a very delicious dinner here with friends. Now, I must share a disclaimer: I've not dined at many steakhouses besides Ruth's Chris, so I may be a little comparative in my review. ;-) The atmosphere here is a bit more crowded and nosier than Ruth's, but the service wasn't bad. I definitely enjoyed my steak and additional side dishes, but the presentation and professionalism was just a notch below what I've experienced elsewhere. Besides that, I would recommend it to anyone. If I had a choice between Ruth's and Fleming's, I'd still prefer Ruth's because it's quieter and less-crowded. Try it out when you can! It's definitely worth it. And I should mention their wine selection is very much on point...even to that of Ruth's. Enjoy!

Great happy hour special. Went here after work and was pressed to find an open seat right after happy hour started. We basically ordered one of each for the happy hour apps and they all came out great. Burger was overdone that was my only critique. Will be back to try one of their pairing dinners they offer once I n anwhile.
(4)Melissa F.
Flemings is one of my favorite restaurants so I had to visit while I was in the city on vacation. I always order the ribeye, medium rare with the mushrooms, baked potato, and asparagus. My server made the experience wonderful. Since it was my birthday, they gave me a gift card and truffles. Yummy. It definitely put the one back home to shame!
(5)Allyson N.
We love this place so much, we decided to make it our venue for our wedding reception. Their food is always consistently perfect. I never order a steak anywhere else but here, there is just no comparison. Their staff is always on point and the ambiance is elegant.
(5)Kendra Y.
Amazing anniversary spot! The food is ALWAYS fabulous and they usually hand out a box of complimentary handmade truffles to go home on such special occasions. I've never had anything but spectacular service at this establishment. When I order the 2 for 1 beer, I never have to ask for my second one. As soon as my first is empty, they just magically know I need another lol Happy hour at the bar is a steal! Good drink specials and GREAT food specials! The $14 burger is only $6 during happy hour and it's made w/ USDA prime beef *yummy* always cooked to a perfect medium rare just like we ask for. Make sure to check if they're on the magical dining list, b/c they were a few years back, I think in 2012 or 2013, and the menu was fantastic! You have to ask for it though, it wasn't advertised anywhere other than on the magical dining website.

This was my 2nd visit and it was much better than the 1st. The restaurant was packed and the parking lot was over extended. The valet was clearly flustered, but friendly and apologetic. We had a reservation, thankfully, but still had to wait a little while for our table. I would not advise coming on a weekend night without a reservation. Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He was timely, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. I highly recommend requesting him as your server. We went straight to entrees, the pork chop and the chicken. Both were excellent and worth the price. Everything on the menu is pretty pricey, but worth it for an occasion or special night. They also offer a great selection of gluten free options with a separate menu. This isn't a place to visit all the time, but I will return again for a special night.

This is the first time I have been to a Fleming's Steakhouse and it was alright. Everything is as you expect - clean environment, great service and then theres steak. However, its not like the best thing eeverr... As appetizers we had the small place scallop. It was unfortunate the $17 was wasted for the scallops because it was overcooked. The flavors was also complex and complicated but not in a good way. The cinnamon was way too strong for me. It was a Sunday so they have their Prime Rib special dinner available which is only on Sundays. It includes your choice of salad, a side, and a dessert of your choice with your prime rib for 39.95. The Prime Rib was good. It was very tender and flavorful. In addition to that, we ordered a lobster tail cooked in truffle butter for an additional $12. It's a small tail and they actually slightly overcooked, possibly leaving under the lamp for awhile. Another side item we tried was the mac and cheese and that was the 2nd best thing that night. As for dessert, we chose the Molten Lave Cake. The server said it takes about 15 minutes to prepare after ordering. Once again, the cake was over cooked because there was no 'lava' coming out of the cake. That was kind of a disappointment. The only redemption from this meal was the prime rib and the service. Everything else was below average. For an up-scale chain, I really thought they would have had everything together. Besides the disappointment in our food, we had to wait literally 45 minutes for our actual entrees. A table near by that came in later than us was already eating their meal while we were waiting. Our server did apologize but it was a good thing I wasn't starving.
(2)Joseph W.
Happy hour bar menu is great. Good selections and nice size portions. Food is very good. Have been here a number of times and alway enjoyed it. The prime rib dinner on Sunday is very good and a lot of food for the price. It is served with salad, side, and dessert. The carrot cake is very good. This is a place that you have not tried you should.
(5)Irina R.
Very good Brunch!!! Amazing french toast!!! Lobster bisque was delicious!!! Had to take home desserts because portions are huge!!!! Very good service!! And ask for their special mimosas!!!!
(5)Donna B.
2nd time here, Had the filet and creamed spinach last night, and it was outstanding again. Outstanding service too!

We've visited this Fleming's location for numerous occasions (to celebrate bdays and anniversaries, enjoy happy hour with friends, etc). It's kind of our go-to celebratory place that's fairly close to us. Note that they have valet parking but we've parked at a nearby shopping center and walked to the restaurant before. It's a nice opportunity to walk off your meal after dinner. Probably one of the best happy hours in Orlando is Fleming's "5-6-7". They only do it at the bar and it basically involves: 5 different types of mixed drinks, wines, and apps $6 each until 7 pm Get there early as the bar fills up fast. We love the calamari as an appetizer and you really can't go wrong with any of their drinks. The $6 burger melts in your mouth and they serve it to you with giant crispy onion rings. Dining in Fleming's main dining room has excellent service. The floorplan is open and you can check out the action in the busy yet organized kitchen. We typically order steaks and they will go to great lengths to make sure everything is perfect with your meal. The side dishes are a la carte and are large enough to serve 2-3 people. Their desserts are amazing too! Chocolate lava cake and creme brulee (getting hungry just thinking about them...) are our faves. Fleming's is pricey but worth it. I haven't tried the Sunday brunch yet but I heard that's excellent.
(5)Jennifer B.
If you are in the mood for steak and a good wine by the bottle or glass selection then this is your spot. I typically get the salmon and as long as you tell them that you like it on the rare side its just delightful. Service is attentive but not over the top. food is consistantly good here. the clientele is typically business and people out for a special occasion. All around solid pick if you are looking for steak and or fish.

Can't rave enough about our recent visit for mom's bday. They decorated the table again, we had the same waiter as before (Michael Farmer per my request), and the food was absolutely amazing!! Mom & I started off with dirty martinis- vodka for me, gin for her. Pinot Noir for dad. We also had some with the steaks. Gotta have a smooth red to accommodate a great cut of meat!! :)- We all decided on surf n turf- 8oz filet & 8oz lobster tail. Also comes with a ginormous scallop (just to wet the palate) & an iceberg wedge. This isn't just your plain wedge! This wedge is HUGE!! It's a 1/4 wedge covered with bleu cheese dressing, bleu cheese crumbles, real bacon bits, tomatoes, pine nuts & a strip of bacon on the side!! OMG SO GOOD!! Our steaks were cooked to perfection of course- b/c that's just how Fleming's rolls. The lobster tails were manually separated from their shells by Michael, and we indulged w/ Fleming's scalloped potatoes & creamed spinach. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake in celebration of mom's bday (which must be ordered at the beginning of our meal). This incredible dessert along with espresso & latte was exactly what we required to end such a perfect meal. Seriously, if you haven't been to this gem in Winter Park- GET THERE FAST!!!
(5)John W.
Restaurant was out of its advertised prime rib special, no substitutions offered. Salads were awesome, we ordered 3 of the 5 on the menu and they were spectacular. Proteins served at dinner were on the smaller size, baked potato was a joke and served open faced showing brown rotting. Desserts were horrible, server forgot to order the molten cake and the s'mores and donuts obviously we're not prepared fresh, without us complaining the restaurant comped the desserts because of the poor food quality and service. Manager was inattentive and tends to hang out by the bar were he feels most comfortable, I challenge him to actually get involved with what his chefs are serving. I have had service and quality issues from this restaurant in the past, most likely won't return.
(2)Christina V.
The food is just incredible. And when they have 5 star service to accompany the cuisine it's a match made in heaven. We went to celebrate my birthday. The small touches meant so much. They wrote me a little happy birthday card, signed by the staff, that was waiting at the table when we arrived along with little confetti decorations. Our waitress was very patient waiting for my fashionably late guests to arrive. She was very knowledgeable about the menu from the wine through dessert. May I just say the bread comes with two types of butter that are both delicious. We ordered several family-style sides to go with our steaks. My steak came out PERFECT. It was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. However, my fathers steak came under-cooked and my uncle's swordfish came out completely raw. My uncle was so grossed out he ordered a steak instead. The manager made a point to bring out the new steaks himself and apologize. He made it right. And then they literally brought us out all of the desserts on the menu on this giant plate that said Happy Birthday and sang to me. It was so awesome. They also brought me a $25 giftcard with a box of truffles. It was all around a wonderful experience. Yes, it is expensive, but for celebrating a special occasion they know how to get it right. Side note-our waitress said the red wine glasses could hold an entire bottle of wine. I didn't believe her. Once we finish our bottle she went and filled it up with water and proved me wrong. It was so cool.

Stopped in on valentines day, with no reservation. Couples were pouring into the dining room at 4pm! We snagged four seats at the bar and had the best seats in the house. The happy hour wine and cocktail selections are great. We had the red blend. Generous pour, but so good we each has 3 glasses! The food selection was quite large. The mushroom ravioli and chocolate lava cake stood out. Of course the prime burgers were perfect. Service was attentive. Bar seating comfortable. Bar prices fantastic.
(5)Cici C.
Decent affordable happy hour. Get the blueberry lemon drop and the filet mignon flatbread..
(4)Sarah K.
It can be on the pricey side but why not splurge on a special occasion. And if it's available the prime rib special is a must. They do offer a pretty good happy hour menu if you want the ambiance without the price tag.
(4)Rafael R.
Great service, great food! As far as high-end steakhouses go, don't waste your time or money with any other. I'm a steak lover and always in search of the perfect steak and often left unimpressed by some of the more well known steakhouses. Fleming's has set the bar high for me and no other steakhouse has been able to reach it. Get the bone-in ribeye, and I prefer mine medium rare with a char. I am also gluten free and they do a great job at accommodating.
(5)Mark C.
Franciscan & Kendall Jackson- Lucky on the wines again! (except cost was $52 & $48 OMG- heavy, heavy.) Both were great, and now trying to find the Franciscan by the case! Caesar Salad- Nice heavy shaving of parmesan and just the right amount of dressing. A good portion when shared @ $9.50 Macaroni & Cheese- Man, my new indulgence. The mac provides a wonderful mouth feel- and the chipolte cheeses are not to be duplicated! Wonderful to dredge a piece or two of the Ribeye into!! A good portion even when shared @ $9.95. Dry Aged Ribeye --med - Exquisite star of the evening. PERFECTION in grilled beef. Medium as perfectly under done a bit to both our likings. Simply isn't possible to improve on. Even shared there was ample portion to take this dining experience over the freak-in top. Okay at $55.50, you better be spot on! Your grill chef, serves up a masterful piece of beef. Chocolate Lava Cake - only because - well because, at this point $12.95 is inconsequencial and we're over 21. Great cocoa flavor and well, simply warm sexy good stuff to end this bout of decadence! Awesome evening of dining. Love their atmosphere in Winter Park over Sand Lake location. Smaller room, very warm lighting and a bit more intimate setting. Nia's service was also PERFECT!

Came here for dinner on a Friday. Wasn't too busy. Nice atmosphere. Not too loud, not too quiet. We ordered the barbecue Scottish salmon and the porcini rubbed filet mignon. Both were delicious. I would like to check out their happy hours. Heard they're pretty good.

Made reservations through open table the night before. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated immediately! I really enjoyed the interactive wine menu! The food was 5 stars! I tried the peppercorn steak it was absolutely delightful and was just as good for left overs the next night! Justin our server was an absolute pleasure and knew his stuff! Perfect for a special occasion!

Fantastic filet of steak. Also their chipotle Mac and cheese in incredible. Happy hour can not be beat for a date night.

Went for a belated anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect and delicious! They even decorated our table and put a personalized note on the table with our name, congratulating our special moment. It was super sweet. Everyone was personable, hands on and attentive. We took advantage of the magical dinning and we both had the filet mignon with a shrimp diablo to share. On a busy night, I was worried about inconsistencies in the way the meat was cooked. But it was mouthwatering, Tender, juicy and full of flavor. I've had some pretty amazing steaks and my babe cooks them perfectly so I've been pretty spoiled but this is really, really, good! Even the bread and goat cheese as well as sundried tomato spreads were yummy! We also had the salads both the Fleming and Caesar. Desserts were both the Creme Brulee and the Cheescake. The creme brulee was definitely better. Ended with a glass of red blend wine and fresh pot of coffee. Can't wait to return again and taste everything else. Thank you for making it memorable

Nice place to visit in the Winter Park area. There are some nice inexpensive wine choices. The steaks are always cooked to the perfect temp.

Steak is great.....service..... Not what you would expect for the price. At least if you dine at the bar counter
(4)Becky F.
My group of nine people were treated to a fabulous prime rib dinner. This was consisting of salad, prime rib and side choice. Followed by delicious desserts. The service was top notch as well. Every plate was cleaned or rest of portion taken home. Everyone really enjoy the atmosphere as well. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a great night out.

We have been to this restaurant many times and always enjoyed a good meal, but not tonight. Tonight we ordered from the Valentine's Day menu which looked great from the pictures they advertised. However when we got our meal, the appetizer was one single tiny scallop and the salmon was way overcooked. In addition the salmon did not look anything like the picture. We complained about the salmon and the manager gave us a free dessert. However for an almost $200 dinner for two, we were completely unsatisfied and probably will not be returning anytime soon.

The service and food at Fleming's is excellent. The steaks are huge, the salads are cold, and the wine list is one of the best in town. They also have really great desserts (the creme brulee will absolutely blow your mind). This is a really great place to go for a special date night, for a business dinner, or to celebrate.
(5)Leighton L.
Clean and good steak house. The service is good and the steak is always yummy. Only annoying issue I had was a waitress tried hitting on my fiancé there and put smiley faces all over our check. Was super unprofessional and creepy. Their seafood tower is good as well.
(4)Brynson S.
My go to steakhouse. I have eatin here around 30 times and only had 2 bad experiences with service. Service is usually great and the food is consistent. Can't go wrong with the chocolate soufflé!
(5)Makena K.
Wine. One star. Great selection. I had a Pinot Noir from France and Malbec from Argentina. Both wonderful choices and paired perfectly with my choice of entree, the Petite Filet. Ambience. One star. Although loud, it still set a romantic vibe for a date night. Lights dim enough but bright enough so you could see your food. Food. I started with the Wedge Salad & hubby had French Onion Soup. Both good as expected. My filet was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Another star. Hence, the 3 star total!!! My husband's raw (not even rare, he asked for medium rare), unrendered ribeye....ZERO STARS! We got home and found the Creamed Spinach we had ordered, hardly eaten but wanted and asked to doggie bag for later enjoyment, nonexistent...DOUBLE ZERO STARS. Me poopie in the potty 3 times after last night's dinner....TRIPLE ZERO STARS!!!!! The meal might have just been too rich for what I'm used to. I'm not sure that a steakhouse in this caliber should serve a RAW steak. The manager did offer a $25 "I'm sorry for the raw steak" card to use later. I'm not sure if we would go back to used it. Maybe.

As someone who enjoys steaks, this place is a winner. I compare Flemings with Christener's. In regards to ambience, Christener's is better. Although the wait staff is excellent at both places. I liked Flemings collection of cocktails. I ordered the wagyu New York strip and believe it may have been the best steak I've ever had. My date had the bone in rib eye and said that Christener's was slightly better but only by a little. Ordered asparagus and truffle mashed potatoes as sides and those were good. We also ordered the carrot cake for desert! It was the best carrot cake I've had. Very rich and meant for sharing. It has a strong cinnamon flavor which I like. Overall a great place to celebrate or drop $200 because you can.
(5)Kevin L.
Good steak...but not for the price. With two other really good steak houses nearby (Ruth's Chris' and the wonderful Christner's) I see no reason to go here again. The service is pleasant, the sides are ok, and the steak is good. In my two visits I've found it really isn't in the league that they try to price their food in.
(2)Robin P.
This is our favorite date night spot on a budget. You read that right, Fleming's can be a budget friendly place. We like to go for their happy hour at the bar. Start with an order of calamari, the best I've ever had, then typically split a burger and we change up the other item. Even with drinks we typically spend about $30 plus tip. Not too bad for an excellent meal.
(5)Chizuko I.
Food and service is great but being sort of high end restaurant pricing.. I shouldn't have to listen to Rock'n Roll or Pop music over the dinner... Supposing music choice...
(4)Chelsea B.
I had the best dining experience here the other night! My boyfriend and I came to celebrate passing the Bar. I had been eying the Magical Dining Month menu for the past few weeks, and I'm so happy that out of the dozens of participating restaurants we chose Fleming's. The food was excellent, but that was no surprise. In addition to the fixed menu (which is an amazing deal, btw), we also ordered the Chipotle Mac and Cheese and Fleming's Potatoes. The potatoes were great, but the mac and cheese was indescribable. It's really, really hard to mess up mac and cheese. But it's also really hard to make mac and cheese so good that you're still thinking about it days later. Just trust me and try it. The service was great. At the end of the night, the manager (owner?) came over and congratulated us and gave us the cutest box of truffles. Oh, and speaking of dessert - the creme brulee was so good! The great food and service coupled with the complimentary valet and easy online reservations made the entire experience so wonderful. Next up, I can't wait to try Fleming's for happy hour one evening.
(5)Rob S.
The steak was delicious but very very salty. I wouldn't go back as it's $50 per steak w/o sides.
(1)J W.
Dinner here was excellent. My steak was perfectly prepared and was probably the most expertly aged and seasoned cut I have ever enjoyed. Service was incredible. Our server was attentive, prompt and friendly. I live in a shirt and tie and half expected to be talked down to or seated in a bathroom since my friends and I were dressed very casually when we decided we wanted a great steak. I am pleased to report that we received no such treatment, the hostess was welcoming and even smiled and laughed at our silly jokes when it was clear we were just in the mood to relax and have a great meal. Even so, you'll probably feel more comfortable in an open collar shirt and slacks than shorts and a tshirt or jeans...but you'll apparently be taken good care of either way. I highly recommend the dry aged prime ribeye cooked medium-rare. Our lovely server spent an extra moment while taking my order to explain to me that I should not be surprised when my steak arrived because a dry aged steak (my first) prepared medium-rare won't look the same as a wet aged steak. I'm glad she did, because she was right and I would have been concerned when I first cut in to it based solely on the way I have always visually assessed medium-rare....but this steak was right on the money! Speaking of money, value for the price is the only reason I am docking one star - don't read too much in to it, I am a very conservative rater. Food was perfect and very fine quality, but it was just barely on the other side of my good value mark. My steak was about $55 a la carte and sides ran about $10 each (order a few and share with your whole table). We had the asparagus, mushrooms and house special potato dishes for about $10 each. They were all wonderful. I loved the potato dish and will try to recreate it at home. If you want wine or cocktails with dinner it could get expensive. They had an extremely impressive wine list but we passed this visit and went out for drinks after. Our ticket says Kelly N was our server. If that is right she is worth asking for. She is a delight and would be right at home at a Top-20...a list which Fleming's could be on its way to. I hope management reads this and takes good care of her. Always tip your servers well. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.

I myself have been to Flemings about 7 times. This was the second time my partner and I visited. The first was in Tampa, FL the day after Valentines Day 2014. We had a horrible experience with bad service, under cooked steaks and bland sides. During this visit after my many complaints so much about the service and food the manager gave use two 100.00 gift cards to return and try their food and services again. We decided that we would try it again at Flemings in Winter Park. This time the service was good but food-----BADDDD!! I order the New York Strip and my partner the Filet. After our app (Calamari) which was amazing and a wedge also amazing, we received our entrees and sides. We both ordered our steaks medium well (small strip of pink in the center) after cutting into mine I reached the center which instantly brought disgust. It was past rare it was RAW, the center was cold as if it had be thrown on a plate straight from the refrigerator. My partner cut into the center of his and it was also raw. They removed the steaks and took them back to cook them longer and remade all the sides. When the steaks mine was cooked enough to eat but still too pink for my liking. My partners was still RAW even after being cooked again for a second time. We were both pretty fed up and just wanted the meal to be over with. So, he complied and ate what he could and we finished. As we waited for the bill the manger stated that she would be taking care of our entire meal and although an awesome gesture I would have much rather had food that was prepared right the first time. As we were preparing to leave the manger with our server came to the table and delivered some dessert (Brule cheesecake, Chantilly cream and blueberry compote) all were amazing. The best part of the entire meal was the dessert. We left unsatisfied and with gift cards to come back again. We most likely will NEVER return to Flemings due to the multiple unsatisfying encounters! If I were you I would consider another steakhouse ( Ruth's Chris or Charlie's) you may have a better experience and still be able to pay your mortgage after you receive the bill! ON A SIDE NOTE: There was also something that I found to be odd about this restaurant. There were seven total tables in the restaurant with guests in them. Six were couples including my partner and I and one a family. All of the African American guests were set on the right side of the restaurant closest to the door and the family (White) and my partner and I were set on the exact opposite (the left side) with no one in the center. It seemed a little bit racist! Just an observation and maybe my imagination. What is this Rosa Parks and the back of the bus?

Good not great... Typical Orlando higher end chain restaurant. General lack of attention to details.
(3)Gerald H.
This is a good place for typical steakhouse dining. Somewhat disappointing to learn they only offer prime rib on Sunday. To start I ordered a glass of wine..5oz later I decided to forgo more wine...should have ordered a bottle. My wife ordered the wedge salad which is the smallest wedge salad I've seen over similar restaurants. We both ordered the bone-in ribeye which was cooked perfectly. The lava cake was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful

Friends convinced us to celebrate our birthdays together at Flemings. We had heard of their reputation and they did not disappoint. We left very satisfied. The interior was typical dark(er) wood and quite noisy in the evening we dined. The place was full of patrons after our 3 hour meal. With the call ahead for reservations, the Fleming's hostess asked if we were celebrating an occasion. We said, "Yes, our birthdays." When we arrived, we were seated at a table modestly and tastefully decorated in birthday motif. Our server provided a thorough explanation of the steaks, types of rubs, and cooking methods. He also described what other dishes were when asked, and, he told us of an unadvertised special only when one of the diners at our table ordered one of the steaks. Two of us ordered the peppercorn NY strip steak and after the first bite both agreed that it was delicious. The steak is accompanied by the "proprietary" F17 sauce in a small cordial-like container. We found no need for the sauce. Lamb and filet mignon rounded out our entrees. Appetizer was the baked Brie and calamari; the side was Fleming's potatoes (think au gratin). We split desserts of creme brûlée and carrot cake. The management more than acknowledged our birthdays however I will not spoil the surprise they gave in this review. Yes, as any steakhouse with a good reputation, the prices are $$$ so don't be surprised. Prepare yourself however for delicious steaks and a delightful experience.

I would like to thank everyone at Fleming's for making our anniversary dinner everything that we wanted it to be. Our server, Blanca, was amazing!!! Our steaks were top notch and the house potatoes were crazy good. Thanks, again, guys... We will see you soon!
(5)Erica J.
This place is amazing! They bend over backwards for you and the customer service is outstanding!! Love this restaurant !
(5)Amy S.
WOW is all I can say. A bit out of our budget, but so worth it. Have a wonderful steak and those poltaios were wonderful. The bread outstanding and the blue cheese salad wow is all I can say. Loved it, will go back many many times. And they gave us a $25.00 card to return and chocolates since it was our Anniversary.
(5)Greg L.
We went for the happy hour and it was my first experience at Flemings. The happy hour prices for drinks and appetizers is outstanding! We had the burger (perfectly cooked-medium) and the stuffed mushroom ravioli (FOUR stars!). We had the Tito's Vodka Lemonade cocktails and our server, Mike, made it special by removing the watermelon syrup as we requested it to be less sweet. He also made a special dry martini as our request. The service is impeccable! The Manager, Flora, is a credit to this establishment. She came over to visit our table, brought us complimentary truffles (very rich and very good!) and informed us about the Prime Rib specials on Sunday and Monday through August as well as the Friday night Wine Tastings. We signed up for the email announcements and are planning to attend the Prime Rib night as well as a wine tasting before the end of August. Great place to gather friends, relax and enjoy great service.
(5)Patti M.
The steaks here are pricey (and are served a la carte) and I can tell you I have had equally tasty, if not better steaks at nearly half the cost of Flemings so I can't say I will be rushing back here any time soon. Still, the filet mignon I had was cooked perfectly and came nice a tasty gorgonzola sauce. For our sides, I found the mushrooms cooked nicely to but to spicy for my taste, The sauted corn was tasty but too heavy on the butter and the baked potato was huge and came with all the fixings (sour cream and chives, bacon bits, cheese). The chocolate lava cake however was PERFECT. The three of us shared it and found it to be plenty for a post stuff you face meal dessert. We share a bottle of wine but they do have an excellent drink selection and you can get "skinny" versions of a number of cocktails. The service was top notch and our servers never missed a beat. They even had the valet bring up our vehicles which were awaiting us when we left the restaurant.
(4)Lisa W.
Great location! Staff is attentive and food is always great. Private dining room is very nice for private function and wine tastings. Steaks are cooked perfectly, nice wine list and plenty of options for those "non steak" people. Happy Hour in the bar has lots of tasty options, Ahi Tuna is a bargain Burger is the regular menu portion. (huge) Drinks are mixed well and service is top notch, get there early if you want a table. Expect to Valet park.
(5)John K.
Fleming's is just an "okay" place. The steak is, of course, good, but for the price you pay I'd almost expect to have "the best steak ever" kind of feeling after. I got a ribeye steak, which was the average $50 but it didn't pop out as something that made me think I got what I paid for. I'm also not a fan of the "family style" sides..they are overpriced for the amount they give you. Next time I want a steak, I will go back to Christner's.
(3)Penelope P.
They threw us to the bar for an hour even though we had a reservation. Good food. Good service. Great steaks. But our apps took 30 minutes and our waitress had to keep aplogizing. Would go back again if someone else was paying.
(3)Joe G.
We started the night at Ruth Chris' happy hour, and found ourselves missing our favorite items at flemings, so we literally packed up and headed over... I think hands down flemings has the best happy hour in town, the food prices are very reasonable and the portions are roughly the same size as the dinner portions. The calamari and the BBQ shrimp were awesome. Great drinks, very nice atmosphere. Service was here and there but the bar was slammed so they were overwhelmed.
(4)Ed M.
A great dinner. Try their double thick pork chop for a change of pace and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Excellent food an service in very respect.
(5)Claude S.
There is so much to say about Fleming's that made our first time experience worthy of a return. We had 8pm reservations and arrived on time and they actually seated us immediately, I find it disturbing that any restaurant takes a specific time reservation and than makes you sit around waiting for a table. Our hostess told us we would be waited on by 'Blanca' and she arrived quickly and introduced herself to us. We began by ordering drinks my wife had a Cosmo and I had a Sazerac, both were excellent so were going to come back simply to sit at the bar one evening and relax. I also ordered a nice Malbec to go with my meal which was a perfect accompaniment to my steak. Blanca began by offered suggestions on appetizers and small plates and we each chose the French Onion soup, it was a hearty soup full of flavor and the Gruyere cheese on top was delightful. Our small plate was their Lobster Tempura, at times this item could be a disaster but Fleming's made it to perfection. A very good portion of lobster with a side sauce, this dish could easily be consumed with ease by 4, for two there was a lot and that was a good thing. For our mains my wife ordered the small filet med-rare, and according to my wife was cooked to perfection. As ordering a steak has become a nightmare for me, not to spoil our night my wife asked Blanca if their chef could make steak 'Pittsburgh", she answered yes and commented that it was charred with a rare center, I asked if they could prepare it "Rare Plus" which is slightly past the rare stage and perfect for a Pittsburgh steak. When the steak arrived to my table, it was easy to see that it was Pittsburgh, it had a nice layer of char that you can hear when you ran your knife over it, the inside was perfect a little past rare. I was floored that I found another restaurant in Orlando that actually knows how to prepare steaks, so now I have 2 options for a steak. We finished our meal with a great desert, their Chocolate Lava cake. I had never ordered such a thing but have seen it often. Its paired with a vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream, the whipped cream was a better choice for the chocolate as the ice cream overpowered the delicate nature of the cake. We extremely enjoyed our dinner at Fleming's and will be return soon. As I'm well aware this is a chain but our experience was over the top based on what we've come to expect from most Orlando restaurants. Maybe this particular location away from the tourist caters to a more personal clientele of locals and their specifics, but overall I would have say Fleming's is worth it for any occasion.
(5)Steve A.
Flemings is an adequate steak house with little to differentiate it from all the others in town. The decor is a bit lighter than some, I guess. The happy hour small plates in the bar seem to be the big draw. Wine pours, served in portion enhancer carafes and glassware, are some of the stingiest in town; I wonder if they're getting seven glasses from a bottle. I think you're better off paying corkage to bring your own.

Best steak I've ever had. Really.... I was shocked to be honest with you. I usually review DC places and we have some epic steakhouses here. I mean where else would the lobbyists be able to eat? So when I went down to Florida for my birthday and Dad took me out for a steak, my expectations were guarded. Well, I got blown away. I got a typical lineup for a steakhouse meal, Caesar salad, bone-in ribeye, potatoes au gratin, and creme brulee. First off, the server had some of the best knowledge of a restaurants offerings that I've seen. He knew every ingredient and every subtlety of the preparation. When I did stump him (unintentionally, I was asking if they had a certain type of rum at the bar) he flipped out a notebook and asked me to tell him about my inquiry so he and the other servers could prepare for it the future. Phenomenal. The salad, potatoes, and brulee were all archetypes of their form, and I would go into detail on each, but I want to talk about the main feature.....the beef. The ribeye...was a massive bone in chop. They wet age, and I got it with their "cast iron crust" preparation, medium rare. Never have I tasted a more savory, beefier cut in my days. The crust added a nice flavorful sear and a touch of texture, and the steak knife they gave me was just a prop to remind me that a lesser steak might need one. The flavor, tenderness, and preparation were unmatched. One of the finest meals I've consumed.

Hands down, best dining experience! I had such a wonderful time dining at Flemings, I almost didn't want to leave! From the time we walked in the door, we were warmly greated and walked to our table and then greeted by our, also very friendly server. I was blown away by their "winePad"! They have iPads dedicated entirely to their wine selection with great information about each wine and pairings that was also very easy to navigate. It is very clear that "That's not my job" does not exist in this restaurant. I observed every single member of the staff stopping to help any other table or any other staff member, from bus boys to managers. I was worried going to a steakhouse as a vegetarian but our server was more than happy to help me create a vegetarian meal. The food was incredible!! We had gone for my boyfriend's birthday and at the end of our meal the manager brought over a box of truffles to wish him a happy birthday as well as a $25 gift card to use on a return visit. What a great touch to finish off an already perfect evening!!
(5)Frances F.
Valet parking is the only option. Happy hour is lame. The bar area is extremely crowded and I didn't care for my calamari appetizer at all. Expect to find 80% rich, old Winter Park folks there taking up way too much space. Only thing I liked about this place was the staff, very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind I was only here for happy hour. I have no idea what dinner is like.
(2)Jackie B.
We went for the 5 for $6 before 7:00 menu. Very catchy theme! While I typically prefer to sit in the bar area, it was PACKED and I got there right after they opened! They do have a little "satellite" room that they serve happy hour in as well. Which worked out better for our group of four, because we were able to talk easier. I did the moscow mules that night. The first one came out with a bug, which wasn't a big deal, but the wait took it back and there was considerably less "mule" in the rest of my drinks after that. We tried multiple appetizers and they were all very good; the carpaccio was a stand out. The bread and dippers they also brought to the table were fantastic! I will definitely do this happy hour again, just wish the location was a little more convenient. And I had to valet park, even though it was still early.

I eat out a ton as a yuppie single guy in his mid-30's. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some high quality steak. I've been to some great steakhouses all over the planet, and for some reason, I really love Flemings. I know it's a chain. And I will say, this particular location is better than the other 4 I've been to (including Sand Lake). I think because this is primarily locals vs. convention people, it has a better vibe. Anyways - the ambiance: I valet park my car and walk in the door. The hostess says "Hi Dominic" right off the bat. I don't know how these people remember me but they do. So I mosey on over to the cozy bar and the bartender already has my oversized Hendrick's Martini pouring. She also remembers me for some reason. Then I'm seated with my dining partner(s) and we always have impeccable service. I mean, IMPECCABLE. Never have had a problem at this location, EVER. And they'll let you sub. anything you want if you ask nicely. The Food: I'd say a 4/5 on this one. It's VERY good. The steaks are always great, and the sides and salads are tops. My favorite "menu" is to SPLIT a wedge salad (it's huge), an 8oz filet medium-rare, and a side of Asparagus and their Jalapeno potatoes (so fricken' delish!). Their flour-less chocolate tort is the perfect ending. It's not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. Also, their wine list is quite good and there are some reasonably priced finds on there. Try the Joel Gott 815 Cab-Sav. It's my "house wine" now after being introduced to it there. The Happy Hour is good, but it's crowded at the bar. You can get some cheap(er) eats and drinks during this said Happy Hour but it's very popular so get there early. Been here many times and keep going back when I'm in the mood for some splurging. My guests from both in town and out of town all have had a wonderful time.

Went hear for valentines day with two other couple I ordered the bloody Mary which was excellent ! For food I ordered petit sirloin (8 oz) mashed potatoes (blue cheese ) and cream of spinach and its three days later and I want it so bad again . The steak was the BEST I've ever ever had medium cooked ti perfection super soft melted in my mouth I cannot wait to go back !!!!

I was recently at Fleming's in Sarasota for dinner with my boyfriend and happy hour on Sand Lake Rd with the girls. Dinner...overall very good. I have some special dietary needs and the server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu ingredients. I ordered salmon and my boyfriend the bone-in rib eye. All food items were very good. The only item that was a negative is the amount of butter that was used on the steak - he didn't finish it because it was very rich. They can definitely lighten up on the finishing butter, the steak is delicious on its' own. Happy Hour with the girls was very fun. There are a variety of drinks and small plates. The prices for happy hour menu items; including drinks was 5 for $6 til 7:00. We like the fact that happy hour is until 7:00 (most end at 6:00) and the price and service was very good. I recommend going there to give it a try!

Coming from NYC to visit my parents and take my dad out for a big birthday, I had relatively low expectations. However, the food was delicious, the service outstanding. We went on a Wednesday evening, so it was not very busy. I had called in advance to let them know about this birthday, and upon arrival found our table decorated with a few tasteful silver confettis on the table and a card from the staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated decor and friendly, but professional wait staff. We shared two appetizers - calamari (very tender and delicious, but the sauce was a little heavy for our tastes) and crabcakes (oustanding!). When two of our dishes (both filet mignons) came out a little too rare, they were promptly taken back to be cooked a bit more and we were nicely compensated for our few minute additional wait with a refill of our sides. The literal icing on the cake was how beautifully they presented the chocolate lava cake I had ordered in advance - a large platter, with icing writing out "Happy Birthday", candles for each decade. There was also a small cheesecake and berries - all fresh and delicious. We were all very impressed. Definitely a good place for a special night out.

While I love their steak the highlight for me is the "Flemings Potatoes". True cheesy yummy goodness on a plate!! The service here has always been wonderful. Only complaint I have is there parking lot is far too small.
(4)Bob D.
Location is a bit tricky to get to due to the intersection they reside on. Other than that, excellent dining experience. Had the peppercorn steak and it was one of the best I've ever eaten! Service was superb, recommendations were spot on and they finished off the nice with some delicious desert offerings.

Four stars for the bar. Two for dinner. So my score is the law of averages. At the bar, the "5 For $6 'Til 7" (menu offering your choice of five different wines/mixed drinks/appetizers for $6 each until 7pm) happy hour is a fab deal with good food. It's also now available any night of the week. Their sweet chile calamari app is hands down my favorite thing on their menu and the bacon cheeseburger is full size and also highly recommended. We've had dinner here twice recently though (once with a $50 amex promo to defray some of the cost, another time because friends wanted to go) and both times, I was just not that into the food. Service was attentive, but on my first visit I was underwhelmed with my catch of the day (sole, and overly dry) and on our second visit, they inverted the guys' steak orders, bringing my hubby a medium well & my friend a medium rare. The first attempt to rectify yielded a rare steak for hubs - which he took as he was hungry - and my friend's steak was not quite medium, since they were in a hurry to get the entrees back out to the table. His steak took a second trip back to the kitchen and finally came out right (except for the part he had already cut into). Hubby got an extra slab of pancetta out of the deal & my friend's steak was taken off the bill. My ahi that night was also just okay - the non-steak offerings make me want to stick to salads and apps. Also, expect to valet unless you want to park at K-Mart.

" Prime Rib and Prime Service" ! Went here after receiving a gift card for xmas from our son and daughter in law. Prime Rib special was great. Choice of salad, sides and dessert. Caesar salad is unique. It has baked prosciutto and fried capers in it. Prime rib was perfectly cooked and tender. Chocolate molten cake was to die for!! Staff is very attentive, including the management. A definite for all to check out.

Awful. Filet was incredibly dry, prawns looked like they sat under a heat lamp. Mashed potatoes tasted boxed. Salad was ok but nothing special. Weird orange butter with the bread is gross. Waiter put potatoes on the table and said, "These are for you all to share." Are you kidding me? Classless. Ditch this place, take your money to Kres downtown or Ruth Chris across the street.

The prime rib was a generous portion, tender and moist, and melted in my mouth. They decant our bottles of wine at the table. My server was interested in making a personal connection with our party and an unforgettable dining experience for every person at the table. Everyone at our table had good comments about their meal. Although I miss the atmosphere and friends from Lawry's, The Grill on the Ally and Spago's; I had an enjoyable evening with some new friends at Fleming's.

Our experience at Fleming's this past weekend was so good that I almost want to go back through all my other reviews and knock them down a star just because they aren't as amazing as Fleming's. We had heard of and seen Flemings, but the price was just enough to make us wary of trying it out since none of our friends had been there. Expensive enough that if it was bad, we'd be really pissed off at spending all that money. The "Magical Dining Month" was the perfect opportunity to give them a shot. Parking is pretty much by complimentary valet only unless you want to walk from a nearby lot - a little annoying, but forgivable. Their actual lot is pretty small and doesn't look like it would really accommodate a full dining room. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, but were promptly seated (though, we were offered the choice to wait - why would we want to?). Greg, our waiter, was at our table in moments to introduce himself. I guess he must have seen the reservation, because he knew my wife's name and asked me mine. For the rest of the night, he addressed us directly by name. It made the whole experience more personal and enjoyable. He explained the menus and options - including 4 pages of wines, a menu of signature cocktails, 2 pages of a la carte items, a prix fixe menu and the magical dining month menu which we were pretty settled on before coming in. He was knowledgeable about everything on all the menus and helped us choose the right wines for our meals. The magical dining month menu is great for a couple as you can get one of everything on the menu (at here, at least - some restaurants offer 3 choices). This meant that we had a salad and roasted mushroom raviolis as our appetizer, tuna tartare and a filet mignon for entree and creme brulee and a turtle for dessert. After seeing it mentioned so often in reviews, we also ordered a side of mac and cheese. I'm not sure if the portions were a little smaller than normal due to the special menu, but they were perfectly sized. Just large enough to satisfy without stuffing you too much. The salad was nice and fresh, but it's really just a salad. The raviolis were excellent. The tuna was seared and cooked perfectly, but was no better than some other great tuna tartares we've had in the past. The filet, however, was heads and shoulders above. Cooked perfectly rare and seasoned just right. The only steaks that come close are those from Texas De Brazil, but those are so different it's not fair to compare them. The desserts were both delicious, but the star there was the creme brulee. Incredible that all of that food was only $30pp. Along with the bill, Greg also left his business card to remember him and ask for him the next time we came in and had the car brought around to be ready for us. Yes, the normal prices are a little steep - but the quality of the food and service more than make up for it. There are other restaurants even within minutes of Flemings that are comparable in price with only half the quality.

It's a chain. Also, it's more like three dollar signs. Bottom line, if you want to spend some money at a chain steak house, go to Ruths Chris. Or Morton's.

Okay, we came back for a full dinner and the experience was excellent. We had the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were quite good, not the best I have had, but very good. The roasted red pepper sauce was very tasty. We split a Caesar salad which was also good. I had the bone-in rib eye which was cooked perfectly and was huge, juicy and delicious. My darling wife had the filet Oscar style with the Bearnaise and lump crab meat, which was also cooked perfectly and delicious. We also had cocktails and a bottle of wine. Service was excellent, Matt did a great job of being very attentive without hovering and we never felt rushed. My only small gripe would be the price of cocktails. Especially considering the wine prices are reasonable, the up charge for top shelf brand liquors is exorbitant. A minor annoyance with such great steak, wine choices and service. I will definitely be back.

This Flemings has a nice atmosphere, good menu, and decent food. However, for the price, you can do better in the area. The steaks are fine. The salads are mediocre at best - nothing special is offered. The service varies depending on your server - it is always efficient but it can be pleasant or condescending, depending on the individual server. The desserts are also mediocre - the lava cake isn't any better than lava cake anywhere else, and the menu is uninspired in terms of salads, sides, and dessert selections. I would recommend Flemings during happy hour and promotional specials, but as mentioned, for the full price dining, there are much better places to enjoy a nice meal in Winter Park.

My boyfriend has been wanting to go to Fleming's for some time. He had heard that it was a great restaurant. We went for Valentine's day, which I know is a busy day for all restaurants, but we still felt it should be good service and food for the pricey menu. We had reservations, and did get sat right away! That was nice with how busy they were. I ordered one of the Valentine's specials which came with a scallop appetizer, salad, filet with bernaise sauce, and pecan crusted salmon. It was decent, not great! My boyfriend ordered the swordfish, which was dry. The biggest complaint would be the service. My boyfriends drink sat empty for a while. And he had asked to get more bread with his dinner and never received it. Our bill was $150, after tip $180! Yes, I still tipped 20%, I have been in the industry and don't feel a mistake should hurt your income. But we both agreed we will not be returning!

We had a great meal on our last visit and also great service. I have had previous not so great experiences so improvements seem to have been made. I will go back soon and recommend highly. Save room for a dessert! Background music is LOUD! I did ask about it and server agreed.....was hoping she would offer to turn it down but would not.

My husbands request for a special birthday. We are both steakhouse lovers. Flemings was disappointing. Service nice and attentive Without hovering. Orders our steaks medium plus. His was medium minus minus. Mine medium minus. We didn't send back as you know how that usually goes. Rest of dinner very average at exordinate prices. Asparagus supposedly grilled was almost steamed. What a let down.

Now this is what you call fine dining!! My husband and I went here for the first time for Easter brunch. We live 2 minutes away but had never been because we knew it was pricey establishment. Decided to give them a try because they had a great 3 course meal they were offering and the price was such a great value. Parking is valet so have some cash handy to tip the guys who work hard in the weather extremes. Service was excellent. Waiter was very knowledgable of the menu and down to earth. No pretentiousness. We each went with the lobster bisque and then the prime rib which came with 3 sauces. My favorite was the aus jus! Mmm! Portions were massive. I ended up having leftovers to bring home. Red potatoes and heirloom carrots were brought out as part of the meal. For dessert, I had the walnut turtle pie which I had him box up since I was full. My husband had the crime brûlée which we both enjoyed. ;). On top of the amazing food and service, we received a $25 gift card to use on a future visit. Can't wait to go back!!

Food and service is outstanding I love this place but it is very expensive I've taken my girl at least three times and the bill tip included between $150-$200 well worth it for someone special

Don't let the location fool you. Inside, Fleming's at the corner of Lee Rd and 17-92 was the perfect last minute choice for our anniversary dinner. From the hostess, to our server, to the manager, the happy anniversary wishes were on point. Even the pre-signed anniversary card was a nice touch for a walk-in like us. I've had a better Manhattan, but the chilled seafood tower appetizer was delicious, especially the crab claws. Worth it. Petite filet and strip steak cooked perfectly, and the blue cheese mashed potatoes were fantastic. No complaints about food, or service (thanks, Sanford!) for that matter. The "celebration cake," a gift to us, and boxed to go for our convenience, was a major hit later that night. Pleasant, upbeat free valet, too. All around, a home run.

I've been there several times. Each time the steak is different. I always order a fillet, but can never experience the same flavor, texture twice. Sometimes it is tender, juicy and delicious. Sometimes, hard, dry, overcooked. I only order my steak medium and never butterflied. Last time we went there, it was for a big birthday dinner with family. What a disappointment. I spent over $400.00 and left feeling disappointed. Outback Steakhouse has a better steak. That's it for me. I'm not going there again. Too expensive, not worth it. Never know what you are going to get. Too bad because when it was good, it was very very good, but when it is bad.... it's awful.

I am a little conflicted regarding this review. Let me start with what saved the evening. My husband and I were celebrating our 7 year anniversary at Flemings and received a card from management wishing us happy anniversary when we sat down. Then at the end of our meal, a lady (we think maybe she may have been a manager) walked by and wished us "happy anniversary" and later brought us a box of truffles and a $25 gift card for our next visit as a gift. We thought that was very nice of them and we felt our business was appreciated. However, now comes the negatives: we never received a 2nd bread serving. When asked if we wanted another bread serving (before our entrees came out) we responded "yes". 10 minutes later, our steaks came out and I guess they got our steak temperatures crossed and made my husband's steak rare. We also asked our server to check on our bread request. 15 min later and half way through our entree, she comes and tells us our bread is in the oven. Needless to say, we never got our 2nd bread server by then end of our meal. So while my steak was delicious, my husband's was too undercooked and while I didn't get the 2nd order of bread I requested, I received a box of chocolates as an anniversary gift. So I FB it 4 stars.

Nice bar, good food and in Winter Park. What else can you ask for?

I have never had a meal here that I didnt love. From the extremely knowledgeable servers to the extensive wine menu, nothing is ever less than amazing.

I have been to Fleming's twice now and both times left and said, "That was a waste of money." Each time I went there with a $50 gift card to offset the cost and I still left feeling like it wasn't worth it. I have eaten some excellent steaks in my time...some of the highlights: Bern's, Morton's, Shula's, Prime One Twelve, Capital Grille, Manny's, Del Frisco's, Maison Jardin, One if by Land, Two if by Sea, and my all time favorite dining experience - Gordon Ramsay at the London. After the other five star reviews, I feel like I need to qualify my past experience before continuing... Sorry Orlandoians, Fleming's does not serve an excellent steak. The ambiance is nice, the service is good , and the extensive wine list is a plus...but the steak? Meh. I typically order a filet mignon cooked medium because I like tender pieces of meat and do not like fatty cuts. I believe that any good steakhouse should be able to cook a mean filet; Fleming's falls short - very short - in quality meat and execution. Both times I have been there the steaks have been very fatty, stringy, and the texture in general off - a poor cut. The steak should be seared before cooking to seal in the juices and flavor, the Fleming's steak was completely bland. I requested some Madeira sauce to try to add some flavor, but that didn't help much. The garlic mashed potatoes I ordered seemed to be completely lacking garlic and they were dry. My husband ordered one of their specialties, the peppercorn steak, and described it as being "not a very high quality meat" and also complained his steak had an odd texture. The mushrooms he ordered as a side were "not as good as Ruth's Chris". The mysterious F17 sauce was "like Heinz 57 but spicier". There are plenty of other restaurants in Orlando where you can get a better steak - start with Del Frisco's, Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Norman's, or Shula's.

The service was excellent, the food was sub-par at best. Complete waste of time and money. All three courses were really bad. Salad: modern caesar, the fried capers is quite brilliant, but it was way way over dressed. The dressing was awful and too acidic, too much parm, and wilted lettuce. Entree: crab stuffed shrimp and fillet. The shrimp was so over cooked that I couldn't even pull the meat from the tail. The crab stuffing tasted pre-made and sat for way too long. The steak didn't even look like a fillet. One never seen a fillet that looked like that. It was shaped like a sirloin, and had a second part of the meat rather than one solid cylinder shape. The funniest thing is that two had medium and two had rare. The two rare were literally twice the thickness of the medium. The cooks are so bad that they just time them, and can't cook the same thickness to different doness. There was no seasoning which you have to have especially since its cooked in a salamander not over a flame or in a pan. Seriously, no sear, no crust, almost no salt, just a bland piece of mush for $30. Easily the worst fillet I ever had. Easily. Desert: chocolate molten cake. Bad. Really really bad. It was cold, over cooked, and grainy middle. Had to be from a box. Of they made it there, I'd be embarrassed. In the end, the service was good and that was it. They advertise as a high end streak house. They look the part, but the food can't deliver. They act as if they have chefs preparing the food, but they are line cooks at best. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe all the cooks were out, and the dishwashers had to step in. I only have it any stars because it has really good service. Stay home and eat Doritos, you'll be much more satisfied.

Sunday night prime rib special is a great deal, yet not the best meat I have ever had.. Service was very good. Definitely would give it another try.

I have to disclose that I am not a steak eater. So my review of Fleming's has nothing to do with their specialty - serving top notch beef. Which my dining companions thought was spectacular. They ordered the chef's special which happened to be two 4 oz. filets wrapped in bacon served over mashed sweet potatoes. It looked great and seemed to be very pleasing to them. I went for the fish and sadly was disappointed in the flavor and the overall dish. The saving grace were the sides. Our table opted for the mac & cheese, smashed potatoes and the glazed carrots. Each item had been prepared with care and precision because they were all mouth-watering. As was the dessert. It was the best $10.50 I've spent on dessert in my life! I went with the Chocolate Lava Cake and had to be restrained from licking the plate. It takes an extra few minutes to cook so place your order sooner than later. But when it arrives it is warm on the outside and full of lava-goodness on the inside. It comes with just the right amount of ice cream to cut the sweetness and a few raspberries for color. This is the type of dessert that all other desserts should strive to be -- perfect. Our server was also a highlight of our trip. She knew the menu, was attentive but not pushy and made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal. I would recommend Fleming's on her service alone. Parking is a bit challenging on a busy night so the Valet might be your best bet. And if you do, they will take your ticket as you're paying the bill so that your car is ready as soon as you are.

My husband and I love Flemings, so I made a reservation last week for our wedding anniversary and happen to make a note of it in my request on Open Table. Would you believe that we got an anniversary card from the hostess signed by the whole staff when we walked in and everyone congratulated us on our anniversary as well! It was a little freaky, but a really nice touch. I've eaten at a million restaurants in my lifetime and even if I didn't count the card, I dare say that I have never had better service anywhere else! Now, on to the food! Top notch! My husband always gets the bone in rib eye because it's his favorite cut of meat, but the bone really gives it a boost of extra flavor. He also got the crab meat lettuce wrap appetizer which makes my mouth water just thinking of it! I've had a few different things now, but last week I tried their Magical Dining Menu. What an amazing deal! For $30, I got a nice big salad, a petit filet mignon (4 oz) with sauteed green beans and potatoes au gratin, and a huge vanilla creme brulee that I shared with my husband and we still could barely finish it! The filet mignon was so tender, like beef marshmellows (if that sounds yummy to you), the potatoes were not too mushy and perfectly cheesy, the creme brulee was served with a big bowl of fresh chantilly cream (a dessert from heaven!), and the salad was very fresh with candied walnuts and dried cranberries. The walnuts were a little too candied for my taste because there was so much sugar on them, they were a bit hard for me to chew. I love the ambiance of the restaurant as well, but it's really the great food and even better service that brings us back time and time again. Our waiter was super helpful, jovial, and he gave us 10% off just because it was our anniversary! If you're looking for a place to celebrate something special, I can't think of a better place to go! There are people that are dressed up, and also people that just go in jeans, so don't worry about a dress code or anything. And if you're just looking for a nice dinner out without breaking the bank, check out their happy hour deal! I have read about their 5 for $6 til 7pm bar menu from other Yelpers and picked up a copy of it from the hostess when I was there. I can't wait to go back for that because the calamari and the bacon burgers sound delish! They're also one of the few places that I know that do happy hour everyday, so that's a huge plus!
(5)Nicole F.
BEST steak ever and great wine list. I have never had a bad experience here. The food and service is always on point. I always get the same thing here...petit filet with asparagus. Just a heads up...the sides are a la cart and are meant to be shared. Enjoy your meat!!!
(5)Roberto H.
Great happy hour, although for me the food is better. The ambiance is nice, dim lighting. Hate leaving cause it's nice and dark inside and then the sun's incandescence always gets me and I cringe like a vampire. The staff is super friendly, and their food in the menu is great. Obviously, for the price it better be.
(5)Phil S.
Great place to bring that special someone...but it is not worth the price....great staff and atmosphere... I can cook a s good a steak at home on the grill, and I don't have access to 'Prime' beef

CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE!! Nuff said Although pricy, this place is great. They run specials all the time and if you enroll in their email subscription you won't pay as much. My wife and I both had 3 course meals with soup, entree, and DESSERT ----- CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE. We shared lamb chops, beef Wellington, seared ahi tuna, and new York strip samples (not full portions). The food was too good and we did not want to share at all with each other, almost got in an argument with each other because she was eating all the wellington!! But cool heads prevailed. We finished our classy night with a full bellies and (wait for it) CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE!!!!

I'd never turn down a dinner invitation to Fleming's - they know how to make a tasty steak and service is on point here. But, if I'm paying, I'm getting there at 5 to enjoy their happy hour! During the week, let me see if I can get this right, it's 5 for $6 'til 7. Five cocktails, five wines and five appetizers for $6 each until 7 - can't beat that with a stick! Beer drinker? You get a little something too - Heineken Premium Lights are 2 for $6. I'm always skeptical of happy hour drinks, but these do not disappoint. I had the Bikinitini, their new 99 calorie drink, and it was yummers. I liked it so much I had another, and another. We shared the ahi tuna and cajun bbq shrimp. The tuna came with a deliciously spicy mustard and the shrimp, although not really bbqy, were HUGE and tasty. This happy hour is a perfect cure for a case of the Mondays!
(4)Kate C.
Happy hour is a great deal. The pork belly, calamari, BBQ shrimp, and carpaccio were all very good. Drink specials are limited choices, but that's ok. Will be back to try a full dinner at some point I hope.

Excellent food, superior service and great atmosphere. My wife and I have been dining at Fleming's Steakhouse for years now and I still think it offers the best all around beef experience in the area. I have been fortunate enough to eat at every highly rated high end steakhouse in Orlando/Winter Park and while many offer a great steak none stands up to Flemings total package. Let's start out with drinks. Flemings offers the best drinks in the area with every major brand of sprirt and a generous pour. Two martini's here will leave your head spinning pleasantly. Other restaurants you can drink five and wonder where's the alcohol. If you enjoy a nice bottle or glass of wine they have you covered with a great selection and knowledgable wait staff that recommend the perfect pairing with your meal. The food is great and even though it's certainly not cheap it's worth the price. A real surprise is how good the seafood is. A lot of people we talk to there go just for the chilled Seafood Tower. It's killer and a meal for two in itself. We always ask for Peter as our server and he's phenomenal. He remembers all our favorite foods, drinks and deserts and never fails to recommend a great meal or seasonal item. The managers even know us by name and stop by the table to chat. Reservations are recommended on holidays and weekends as they do fill up. For parents I suggest you leave the kids home as this is primarily an adult oriented restaurant with no childs menu. If you are looking for a great date restaurant or simply want a fantastic meal and dining experience you cant go wrong with Flemings.
